Unfortunately that's some of the pitfalls of trying to do a newsletter, especially on a forum.
You guys get a Great Big A++ for trying to make a go of it.
August 13, 2010, 11:48:02 PM
This is the same problem we had last time.
We just can't get enough news, and nobody's around.
Hey, I'm not going to be a hypocrite and say:
"Staff! Get back in here!" Because,
let's face it,
I'm hardly around either.
August 12, 2010, 02:31:47 PM
There apparently has been a delay due to Summer Vacation because there are several members that are involved with putting it together.

Around here there isn't any TRUE Mexican food.  :-(  It's all Tex-Mex ... Which is okay ... But I do miss REAL Mexican food.
August 10, 2010, 03:31:48 AM
I've been to a mexican rest. and they even had rotton mexicn food!
August 09, 2010, 10:00:35 PM
Chuckle...They probably say the same thing about us when we prepare their food.
August 09, 2010, 07:39:49 PM
It's official: Germans make TERRIBLE Mexican food. I mean, when you get the Mexican sampler platter for 2, do you expect Italian meatballs or some sort of strange salmon wrap?
August 08, 2010, 10:48:09 PM
I had breakfast for dinner last night- home fries/eggs YUMM
August 08, 2010, 10:16:45 PM
I ended up doing bacon, scrambled eggs, crescent rolls, and milk.  :-)
August 08, 2010, 08:35:38 PM
hey...breakfast is good at dinner.
Bacon, pancakes, orange juice, hmmmmm.......
August 08, 2010, 07:49:56 PM
I'm thinking breakfast for dinner.  Really I'm just craving bacon but a huge plate of bacon for dinner seems kinda silly ...
August 08, 2010, 05:58:25 AM
I agree with you there, scobdoo! If I have kids, they aren't getting all the new video game systems...they'll have legos, blocks, and bikes, and I'll make them play outside! Maybe even unsupervised like I did when I was a kid...
August 06, 2010, 06:04:19 AM
I remember vacations lasting for ever when I was little and never being bored, kids now and days are bored to death in 5 days

Pie Craving is an awesome online platform game, in which you play as a strange yellow blob.
The object of the game is to climb the tree, by jumping on the platforms, and avoiding the ghost, hedgehogs, and spikes. If you touch/fall on one, you lose a life, and you are given 4 lives in the game. There is an opportunity to gain another life, but not many, so it is wise to try and conserve your lives, so that you can complete all the levels, and finish the game.
At each level, there are items you can collect by jumping on, or walking into, and they give you bonus scores. At the end of the level, you will see/arrive at the cake, and that is your ticket to advancing to the next level. You collect it as you would any other object (by jumping on, or walking into it). for reaching the next level.
Use the arrow keys for moving and the space bar for shooting the ghosts.

Here is the link to it: http://www.donpixel.com/play/060810103045/
I hope this is not considered spamming or advertising... I just thought this would a fun game to share with everyone, because I enjoy it a lot, and others might, also.

Oh, I almost forgot! I have two other games that I love, and wanted to share and recommend to anyone who'd like to give them a chance!
The first 1's called 'Bunni How We First Met', and the 2nd ones called 'Evolution'.
In 'Bunni How We First Met', you get to find love and adventure on the magical Island of Bunni! You have to rebuild the island, plant trees and flowers, and collect a bustling village of adorable animals. Can you marry your true love?
In 'Evolution', you get to breed several species of beetle to create the best among their breed. You have to keep them entertained by buying them toys, and feed them to keep them alive.
Here are the links!:

Evolution: http://www.123-games.net/games/evolution

Enjoy!
P.S. I think I'm going to make this thread my official game thread. I will post fun games (and their links) that I love, and would recommend you all try, if you would like to, and you all can do the same if you have any games you adore, and would like share with all of us! wav

Alex in Danger, on Miniclip.com is also a game I love and would recommend to you all! It is kinda similar to Pie Craving except you have a gun, that you shoot hedgehogs, snowmen, and other vicious creatures, that live in this fantasy world, game. You have to get to the doorway at the end of each level, and collect all the gems you can find along the way.

I have provided links to both Miniclip.com, and the game; Alex in Danger!:

Please take the time to view/check out these two other favorite games, of mine: Mecha-Cat Destructo, (a platform Cat-Scratch, game) and Penguin Diner, (a simulation restaurant game, where you play as a penguin, and you own your own restaurant called the Penguin Diner. You can buy upgrades for your restaurant with the money you earn each day.

I played the Pie Craving one, but it wasn't very good.
The penguin diner one is just like Diner Dash, but not as good.
I prefer the strategy games to the misc. (Miscellaneous) games.
For good games, I suggest you go to the armor games website,
but beware, the pop-ups are really annoying.

I know, right?! I found it on a random site, and it caught me eye. I played it for a little while, just to try it, and found that I couldn't STOP playing it! It really is addicting! But, after a couple of hours, I finished the whole entire game, and boy was it a good game!

Hmmmm... If you can't access the roses, than you either need to update your store, or buy another store, that is of higher quality.

Crab of the Month

This is Wasabi. He is a PP, (Purple Pincher) and sadly, he has passed on. He was the biggest out of all the crabs I have owned so far, and out of them all, he lived the longest. He lived about 6-7 months.

Facts

Land hermit crabs store a small amount of water in their shells just to keep their gills wet, thus allowing them to breath.
